• What tends to be the solution for drop bars - wanting lever hoods on both bars but only one lever?
I've seen some with a sort of 'blanking' lever stub in place?

I'd rather avoid having an unconnected lever to accidentally grab.

Hard thing to search for - im assuming its been discussed previously, I'm just struggling to UTFS :-)

  • You can use a single cane creek scr 5 tandem stoker hood.

Or you can use a pair of normal levers and try to remember that one of them does nothing...

Or you can use a problem solvers cable doubler (assuming cable-operated brakes, of course) so that both levers operate the same brake.

    I’ve never done this.

    Like, ever.

  • I believe the tektro/trps have quite easily popped out levers.
But as others said, it's not really a problem, you know which brake is which.
Get sprung ones, or do the biro trick or tape trick for unsprung ones.
