Nearest equivalent was 13 years ago when a taxi driver decided to see how far I could fly. ( I have a lump in my left humerus from the break, and never saw a payout.)
Took at least 6 months before I stopped flinching whenever a car drove past, and probably a year before I was more 'normal'. That was a bigger trauma for sure, but I will expect a similar timescale.
It's different but the same; After I got robbed badly, it took a long time to confront and deal with the anxiety, it still causes me some issues now. Feel for you. All i can say is step into the space that feels difficult, when your ready.
