Did you have to change any of the cabling?

Yes, from the product description:
- When fitted to an S type stem the height position is the slightly above an M type. – Use H type cables.
- When fitted to an M/H type stem the height is lowered by 30mm. – Use original cables.

How tall are you for point reference, please?

6'4" / 193cm

I have a flat bar but changed to a flat swept-back pair which is a little better.
I found the Brompton flats too narrow and it started to play with my shoulders.

These bars plus the ergon bar grips/ends are great; I use the bar ends loads. These bars also have a small amount of sweep too.

This is incorrect, the Kuosac bar is designed to fit an s type and exactly match the m type height.

This description has been changed since I wrote it, mid rise bar on S type stem = M type cables.
