Yep basically; also not a blend of different aged spirits so more like a small batch/single barrel type of thing.

Pricing in the US is completely mental, different state allocations and taxes makes crazy prices, you see buffalo trace for $80 in some liquor stores.

Reddit is full of people posting about paying 5x normal price for things.

Atleast malts are cheap

Took a punt on this £45 Brazilian 5 yr old oloroso barrel I saw in Cadenheads. It's a great dessert substitute. Tastes like Jamaican ginger cake and cherries with a smidge of peat.
