Trying to use Philips on pozi is worse though! And then even more annoying is when you come across JIS type, that Philips just don't quite fit, but fit well enough that someone else has usually mashed them up beyond repair before you get there. Or when your chosen brand of Philips bit and drywall screws aren't playing well together! Having a couple of PR2 bits on hand can be a real lifesaver.

Plain slotted screws have no place outside of antique furniture.
Philips is for old cars.
I like Pozi but Torx has its place.
On this subject, why is it that most people only use Pozi screws, but only have Philips drivers? It really bugs me when I am fixing stuff at e.g. my father in law's house. Buy the correct screwdrivers!
