It's not like I know them or anything so I can't avoid paying tax but I've got my bag pretty cheap during black friday. Sent it to Poland so paid whatever their tax was rather than paying for Brexit Bullshit and having it delayed at the border. Also have their down trousers which I didn't buy on sale but did buy when the price was better in Poland and had someone collect them.

I'm cursed with being fat but cold, thick blood but low red cell count. I'd rather have the warmer option and vent it than not have the warmer option I guess.

I've recently bought à BivyBag that condensate a LOT during nighttime. My sleeping bag being an old nothing-fancy-decathlon.

any recommandation for a quality+ lightweight, compact, breathable sleeping bag compatible with the BivyBag experience ?

I've heard I should go with synthetic fabric and not a fluffy one or something ?

It would be used pretty much only during summer, and a tiny bit in-between seasons (but I can always add a liner or put some clothes on).

in my experience, the sleeping bag is only a small bit of the equation - for the bag the main thing being that you are working with a narrow optimal temp rating with as you don't want to overheat and sweat in your bag, but you obviously don't want to run cold either. If I were still bivvying I'd opt for a light sleeping bag but keep down top and bottoms even in shoulder seasons so you can modulate for changing weather

Have you optimised everything else in the system? Have breeze and ventilation to sleep through, have sun on you when you wake up, keep any sweaty or damp clothes outside the bivvy

All in all, I find bivvies only useful for competitive stuff and really mini sleeps, and not for any real touring. Some condensation is inevitable, and I end up spending more time drying things out and maintaining gear

Can anyone recommend a quilt. I had the Alpkit cloud cover which was just that, a cover.

The cumulus stuff is quite nice. Got a Quilt 350 for the misses and she never had a cold night again ever since.

I've got a kabatic gear flex 22.
I'd never had a quilt before but I'm a side sleeper and threw caution to the wind.
I love it. I'm a cold sleeper and say it would be toasty down to about 0, lower than that I'd probably want a sleeping bag.

Anyone tried the 'ultra' series of bags with primaloft gold from Alpkit?

Any fancy hammock with build in bug net that works (big rough to actually move around) and tarp combo. For a hot country use with moderate but problem (not australia bad).
Eno double jungle seems about right. Important to have a water break on the lines though, some of them like hennesy use a metal t toggle to 1) make setup faster 2) bug and water drip point

Picked up a Nemo Fillo Pillow this week and it's very comfy. However, this one from Decathlon for 1/3 the price seems to be based on a similar principle, and felt decent when I handled it in the store:

Me too - fits nicely inside the mummy top of my bag and I like the foam/air combo.
