Oooh, my first ever public photograph. The end of year show at my evening class, but I'm still rather thrilled about it.

Anyone got any experience running M-mount lenses on a full-frame digital camera, non-Leica? I can't justify the cost of an M10 but have some lovely lenses that I only use on my M6 that I'd like to get more use out of.

I tried a Sony A7r briefly between an M9 and M240. It was really good, small lens adaptor involved but the results were excellent. The M240 sensor has a slight advantage with Leica lenses at the edges of the frame.
I also felt that the Sony 50mm AF lens would have been a better match to the body. Manual focus still works great but it's not a rangefinder and there are so many AF advantages on most modern bodies that it seem to lead that way.
