Horses for courses.
We put up some shelves with black metal supports with viable screws. I spent ages hunting down the right length japaned slotted screws - couldn't find them so shorted longer ones. I also made sure all the slots lined up.
Obviously I could have just used some gold ano pozis. But that would have looked shit.
I also used brass slots for modding a desk top to a kids bookcase. Again I could have used gold ano pozis. But that would have looked shit.
