Rear was actually fine, marginally too tight with new pads, so took the 75% pads off my road bike and it was perfect.

Front, there were actually two of those domed spacers so I took the thicker ones out completely and the carrier bolts still tightened up fine. Still to set pads up correctly but they’re in and not rubbing

Thank you for doing all this figuring out for me. Bought one of these as a complete bike on ebay because it was a steal, and building it up for my brother. The more Im looking at this frameset, the more I like it.

Did yours come with the original trp brakes? My front one is a little crusty and am curious to know what my options are if/when it gives up
