Might have to wait for them to grow up into sulky teenagers that never leave their bedrooms....

That's a great site.
Unfortunately as much as this hits the brief for cheap and utilitarian, it looks a bit too Rambo....I mean look at the 5th hit on image search

Find out their musical tastes, then play something else, loudly.

Get a lion to shit in their rose bushes?

One amazing reason why I love waking up early and pottering in the garden.

They have 3 feral cats.
Fence on our side would work. At one end we have a wood store, then this row of conifers. It would look terrible and not he practical.
I think we need to subliminally train them to be quieter.
I was actually considering watching stand up comedy next time they’re all out there. I’d enjoy it and it would be a welcome distraction.
Kids are loud nothing’s going to change that.

We have them in Belfast now, smart little birds.
Looks like he / she is stuffing himself :)

Nice! Are they your own figs are are they coming over some the other side?

Picked up a new Hozelock gun in the hope that it would stop the leak from my £1shop one.
Annoyingly I've realised its leaking from the connection on the bottom, rather than the gun (see pic).
- Does anyone have any tips to resolve this?
- If I need a new fitting which is best (need a free flow), and are there any pro tips for correct and leak-free installation?
Cheers

Have you tried undoing it, chopping 1" off the end of the hose and refitting it?

Coming over from my neighbours. We share them.
We also "share" a wisteria and sometimes an Oval membership #dadlife replaces #daslife
Nice, love a good fig/fig tree. Although I have left the one I got for christmas in too much sun when I repotted it and moved it outside and I've scorched the leaves quite badly.

This rose is the most abundant so far, but the leaves look pretty spotty and the flowers brown at the edges quickly, any thoughts?

Bin and get a Geka watering lance! You'll never ever look back.

Kind of but it's painful as the underground root system seems so much wider... I've eradicated bamboo from the garden but bindweed just keeps reappearing because it comes in from my neighbour. Like JWestland, I dug all the roots out of my garden but the side of my garden that borders my neighbour just keeps getting more. I just pull it out at ground level and it stays in check...

As nice as they look, I'm not going to drop £70 on a water spout.
Also I'm not sure it addresss the route cause as it looks like you still need to connect it to a hoze.

Not yet. But that was my next move.
However I didn't want to bother if I was going to replicate the same mistakes, or if there was a particular way to do it correctly

I've had much better results from solid brass connections off eBay than hozelock etc plastic ones

It may well have just got a bit compressed and come a bit loose. I'd just chop it back and do it again, it only takes 30 seconds. Make sure none of the plastic bits that clamp it are broken. Gardena and Hozelock are both fine for me, Homebase own brand gave up the ghost after a year or two.

Rose black spot, remove the foliage affected

The roses are in full bloom. Still can't believe old neighbours were going to dump this, bit it does flower far better in our garden.
Some aphids nothing too serious. If you see that weird white thing I posted below. .it's a hoverfly larvae. They eat aphids so let them be.

Cheers I'll check it out.
Realised that I still have loads of things potted up that either I can't yet put back on the patio, or were transplantated and don't actually have homes yet. So instead of a living wall I've just arranged them on a mini pallet.
Makes the view from the dining table / WFH desk much better.

I feel I maybe missing something, but why can't you put up a fence on your side?
