FFS. If you listen to any rider in pro cycling at the moment (man or woman) rider safety is such a huge issue. At the risk of sounding like a sensationalist doom monger, is it literally going to take someone being killed again like in the bad old days for change to actually happen?

I think Adam Hansen recognises this and is doing a great job of mobilising the riders to take a stand against poorly organised races.

It was the CPA, which Hansen is chair of, that successfully lobbied the UCI to cancel the final stage. More power to them, frankly.
