Love the lugs on the tekno!

Also that butler basically is a set of sugino cranks and you get the rest of the bike for free.

Thanks for the positive responses and messages. Everything is spoken for except the Rourke and Roberts. A few people went AWOL on me, so these two are currently still up for grabs.

I'd be interested in just the Rourke frame without the wheels if you'd post it

The Rourke is lovely but it does look like a crack to my eye. It may have been brazed over as a repair but looks to continue onto the steel

@Pipyepip I've bought it. Looking forward to cleaning it up and sticking a nice Campag groupset on it.

@PhilDAS I've seen plenty of compact frames fail at the junction between the seat and top tubes, one of the reasons why I, as an old curmudgeon, prefer classic geo. I wish I knew enough to judge what's going on with the Rourke.

Yeah it also might be fine. Difficult to tell from a photo but Reynolds stainless does sometimes suffer from inter-crystalline cracking near to brazed joints.

Geoff Roberts told me he gets loads of stainless frames to repair. He likes building with 853 and Life.

Not sure why but I am drawn to the tandem.....
