What a great write up. I liked the bit with the climb, and i'm envious it seems you had at least a little bit of cycling without gloves - a part of summer I am looking forward to - as well as a multi-day trip. I need to get better at remembering I can cycle places rather than drive or take the bus but this takes the biscuit.

@atk: Custom Wit Slingers bag by @Tijmen. See pages 6 and 7 for more pictures.
@si_mon628: Well, it both is and isn't easy. I booked my accommodations beforehand, so that helps.

Absolute compliment dude, the rad aesthetics are an enabling factor for the compulsion.

Order has been restored. And some needed maintenance. This TA ring also looks a lot smarter than the standard one, I think.

Yes. That’s ace. Delightful.

100% they looks so much better. I do now kinda wish I’d gone for those cranks + black rings for my Faran.

the crustier this crust gets the better it looks, delightful bike

I dig the cranks, but the BCD makes it really hard to find replacement rings. These 9 speed TA rings were about the only ones I could find, but they seem to work well with the rest of the 11 speed drivetrain.

Just emailed Mr Gebhardtová from Gebhardt chainrings in the Czech Republic because no one has hipster sized NW in stock.
I think he will make you almost any chainring possible. -

And those aren't even the ones with pins in them - which really are the GOAT.

Couldn't find them in Europe. Have I made a huge mistake? They seem to pedal fine.
Excellent write up. You make it sound so easy just to pop out the door and go through 3 countries.
