  • I’ve always had a dream that on my NBA debut I’d enter the court to “Big Ted, out of The Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School”.

But I guess the major NBA franchises have missed their chance to draft this Herefordian baller (and Timberwolves, appreciate your call but you never had a chance)

  • In soccer news, the Messi tax is in full effect. Same seat:

Chicago Fire vs New England Revolution - $44

Chicago Fire vs Inter Miami - $450

  • What’s the feeling tonight? I'm torn, I'd laugh myself silly seeing Pep overthink it again and bottle it, but also if he wins he'll have 'nothing left to prove' at city, thus the more likelihood there is he'll head off somewhere else and win with by far the best resourced team in that division as well.

  • Cannot see beyond City, but a one off game you never know. Surprised Walker is on the bench though.

Edit apparently Walker has not trained.

  • Hoping city batter them. Pep put out his strongest 11 I reckon.. Not tried to do one of his stupid overthinking it line-ups.

4-1 is my prediction. Dzeko or even lukaku with a late consolation

  • I hope Inter let City play football, I hope City play how they can, if that happens then I expect Jonny to get his wish (battered that is, not penalties).

Sour grapes about funding aside, it is sweet and fitting for the better team playing the better football to win.

  • Surprised Walker is on the bench though.

Not really tbh, Inter don't have a Vinicius type player against who Walker excels, they play two up and you need all you centre-backs to be able to front up to Dzeko / Lukaku.

  • Definitely want Inter to win.

I see that Newcastle are following City's lead with a massive sponsorship deal effectively from their owners.

  • Is this the Superbowl?

  • I thought the same haha

  • City being bullied at the moment. Not a great game.

  • Don’t know how long inter will be able to keep this up for but it’s an effective tactic.

  • City starting to turn the screws

  • Yeah, effective for 30 mins but it’ll only take a moment if they blink.

  • True, but they’ve threatened to score a few times as well. If they can do that then we have a different game on our hands.

  • Not really kept up with Italian football but disappointed to see that Zamarano, Recoba, Vieri, Toldo and Cordoba aren't involved tonight.

    Still supporting Inter though.

  • Not a classic so far.

  • We deserve penalties

  • Recoba is on the bench. with Adriano.

  • Classic cup final, fucking awful game. 4 nil Shity, first goal should open the floodgates.

  • Inter rolling out the dark arts now. Diving and fouls.

  • What City would give for Dwight McNeill to fizz one of these corners in.
