Na, after 6pm probably won't make it a fun trip.
It wasn't very fun, though I enjoyed some bits.
Picked up my first cargo bike.
-Wembley to Beckenham
-Was my first time on a bike like this.
-The bike hadn't been used in a million year, zero lubrication, squeaky / rubbing brakes.
-The electric rear wheel isn't working (some bits are missing).
-I was carrying tools, a D lock (just in case) and my Brompton.
-Crystal f***king Palace.Took me over 3.5 hours. But I'm happy and hope the kids will be too!

Those are great, and I think budget cargos make sense.
And under 4 hours might even be quite fast. -

It should definitely be worth it once it's had the once-over, especially if you can get the motor up and running well.

Hub motor setups seem pretty easy to fix. I bought a bike in a similar state. New battery, display and some wiring and good as new on the ebike side.
