Apparently some e-bikes do 60 and some are bought by parents who think they are just bicycles https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65855198 I wonder what the profit margin is if you buy 50 on aliexpress and sell them to your local youths? We always have a carnage panic when 2 wheelers get faster. Like when L plate motorbikes could do 100 in the '70s and you could buy them without taking a test. Or when rich young men scared the populace back in the days of the hobby horse.
