  • LIFE UPDATE

Today was my last teaching day and I am expecting to not return after summer but instead commit fully to Hulsroy International.

I have some good projects in the pipeline and I am mega excited about getting back on making YouTube videos.
One of them will be about using my vintage Deckel pantograph with 3D printed templates made with this Ender III pro @JesperXT has lent me.

I will be using this setup to pantograph everything but also to manufacture complex geometries like splines. We will see how successful this is.

  • big news!
    good luck 🙌

regarding the child seat, we had a similar top tube seat setup when my daughter was small, it was a great solution. I wonder if you could get some clamp on bar ends to use as foot pegs on the diagonal tubes to allow her to have a bent leg position? might be a bit more comfy than fully extended legs on rough ground?

  • Always enjoy reading your thread, so much cool stuff going on and always at quite a pace! Best of luck going full-time with your manufacturing, please link to where you'll be selling from as I'd be keen to support and find an excuse to buy something!

  • Congratulations! Got an accountant yet for that all important "tax optimisation"?!
I am still trying to wrap my head around using a 3D printer for what you are describing. You can hack it so it can do "negative" engravings instead of "positive" prints? Care to elaborate? Or is that content for one of the upcoming YouTube videos?
