I think fit will be the key with the Bolles, if they are tight on the head, they will be great, if they are loose they will be terrible. I'm tempted to order some online without prescription to try them on.
I will be using my health insurance (I've got two, one through family, one through work). I checked earlier and its fine to buy prescription sunnies.

Result if you can get them through health insurance. Can't you ring around local Bolle stockists and just pop in and try a pair on rather than ordering a pair?

Can't seem to find any in Bristol

Thats surprising but yeah nothing is popping up immediately apart from vision express stocking Bolle ski goggles

I took a chance and ordered the bolles. £111 all in woyh shipping and plain grey sunny lenses.
I do fancy the jawbreakers but I'd have to fork out about £100 of my own cash for them, whereas my insurance covers full price of the bolles. My only concern is that the arms aren't grippy enough, but I can always buy some slide on grippers and take the heat gun to the arms.

Missus finally gets around to looking at glasses. Only 4 years after I started hassling her about cycling glasses. Gonna see if RXSport has 3x glazed frame/lens options for her to try out. They post them out apparently.

Dredging...were you happy with the Bollés, where did you get them, and do you have pics? Assuming they are prescription not plain lenses. Thanks for any info!

Mostly happy. They do a good job of keeping the wind out but could really do with some gripper arms for off road riding. They sit a little close to my face so occasionally get sweaty which is annoying.
Better than nothing though. And yes prescription lenses.

They look OK with a helmet too.

Cool, thanks. Where did you get them, easy enough to order? Cheers
Or buy both at that price for 2 different looks.
