• Trust me @crossedthread I am loosing out substantially already on what I originally payed for it, I'm not asking for unreasonable profit, you are all bike people here, you know what things cost so please save the insults, almost all parts are brand new and most are pretty high end, so lets not take the piss.

  • when selling complete bikes it’s not about what you’re losing but what people are willing to pay.

you’re selling some odd expensive bits as parts of a rather questionable build, which makes them significantly less covetable. a person on the market for an onyx rear hub isn’t primarily looking to get one attached to random (and potentially misinstalled) junk.

£400 isn’t too far off for what you’d get through an ebay auction. this reflects the real value of the bike in the current composition, not the cumulative price of the individual parts. definitely not £800 and even less what you’re asking. in this case it’d make sense to even pay a bike shop to take it apart and list the parts separately on ebay.

people are taking the piss because you’re clearly failing to understand how the used bikes market works. this is not an uncommon thing to happen on a bike forum full of knowledgeable enthusiasts.
