No gravel in Innsbruck. Karts > bikes. So fast and fun. Unsure how suitable for the sfab bridleway bs we have in the UK. Will maybe get an ekart to compensate.

Not on komoot so can't see your route but most Tunbridge Wells to Hailsham rides I've seen are on the cuckoo trail and are a mix of rail trail and housing estates?
I keep meaning to drag the kids on it but it doesn't seem particularly inspiring.

Yeah that seems to be the trail it goes though mostly now I’ve looked, good to know, I guess rail trails aren’t ever most exciting but are still better than just using the alternative road option and can be appreciated rest breaks from techy bits (for me anyway)
Not doing that route today anyway, just going to follow the NCN 21 with some good off-road diversions to the Archive Works, then fairly straight south-west-ish to Brighton -> on to Shoreham -> downslink to Guildford (or Woking maybe) -> train to Waterloo

Excellent choice.
I've got a grey one. Was just coming on to post about it actually.
I had some rene herse bon jon pass tyres on, 35s, which I have taken off for some GP 4 season 32s and it's like a new bike. The BJP felt so sluggish and draggy I was starting to hate it, now it's got a smile on my face again. Also hate the fizik argo saddle that came on it so grabbed an antares (were like £25 on ribble last month).
Off to Gravelfoyle on Sunday and going to switch in the 650b wheelset for the first time, with some senderos on.

Interesting! Were the BJP setup tubeless?

Is the frame an old cannondale?
-
• #27370
yes an old Caad9Cx/CX9...outstanding example of "use what you have"
-
• #27371
Nope. Though the bike was mainly getting road miles, so that didnt help. Now with some 650b wheels I can switch in, just feels so versatile. Love it.

Triggered by whatever's happening with the unmatched wheelset.
Also triggered by the E. coli bidons.
@giofox yeah lots of bits in and around this avenue verte aka NCN 21 are fun - a few SE forum heads went out on that route to the Archive Works the other day.
And in the quest for a 200km ride on Sunday, I was spitballing some random routes using that ride on Komoot last night, and I put this long-winded way to Brighton together.
Its probably not exactly what you want and the bit from Groombridge to Eastbourne is untested by me, but maybe it’ll help somehow…
