I've had a half ti, half ally 10s cassette for quite a while, and the ally cogs are still good...
This one has some sort of plating on it; the ally cogs look similar to the bare ti, but I think the main thing is I've always used a fresh chain on it.
Low speed downshifts under power have gouged it up a bit, but it still shifts fine and doesn't skip.
Just as a word of warning to anyone considering the Miche primato K12 cassette as a cheaper alternative to Campagnolo, the aluminium teeth start to skip after approximately 1k km on the cassettes I’ve owned.
The response I got from Miche included….
“Please be aware that aluminium sprockets have a faster (a lot faster) wearing compared the steel ones.”
And
“ Once chain slips on teeth, then these are damaged permanently.”
