Messi wrong foots the football world again and seems set to join the MLS, and Inter Miami specifically, rather than taking the Saudi $$$.

Isn't there some rumour that he signs for Miami and then goes on loan to Barca?

I've heard that too, but Sid Lowe is convinced that he isn't going to Barca because there is no way they can finance it, even if it's a loan.
