About to remove an old bottom bracket, and need some advice before I make things worse.. :)
My Park tools pin spanner almost fits. It has 2,9mm pins and it fit a bit too tight to the holes, their other pin tool seem to be for 2,3mm which seem too small.
Would carefully drilling the hole to 3,0mm be a way to go in this scenario? The bottom bracket is in quite a rough conditions, and I will most likely replace it once removed.
Cheers, I carefully enlarged the holes to make the tool fit snug.
Managed to make it rotate approx 1,5 turn, then it seizes. Need to find a creative solution to get it out.. The pin tool don't have enough leverage and bends to much to feel safe to use. Good news it actually moves!
