Almost broke the 200km day ride mark on this bike this last Sunday, my ‘proper’ geared bike that I built last September. There’s probably frames out there that would fit better and would definitely be lighter, but for what it cost it’s been maybe the best bike purchase I’ve yet made, bridleway bikes r the best.
Speaking of possibly silly purchases, just used a friends shop discount to buy some 45c Vittoria Terreno Dry tyres that I’m going to try and squeeze into here… frame is rated at 45c and I’ve seen people squeeze 47c with no room for peanut butter, but this fork is rated for 42c so I’m quite possibly risking it… Will definitely be a Summer only tyre I think… Will update here for anyone curious whenever they arrive.
