    The first bit of kit I bought for my home shop was a dust extractor. If I hadn’t got it first it would have ended up way way down the list.

    If I ever rejig the entire place I'd love to have something like that in the corner with hoses run along the ceiling to strategic points and gates to open and close. I was doing fine with just the shop vac for sanding and cutting. Jointing/planing is a whole other level of sawdust making, as I have found out. This also opens up the possibility of turning.....

  • For me it’s if I have to use a router round somebody else’s place. I’m shit a brick! where did all that come from? It’s easy to forget about the chips when you only have to empty the bag at the end of the day.
