LB have just emailed me suggesting I upgrade from Bitex 312 hubs to DT 350. They said they have had complaints about bearing issues. I have a pair on another bike and have had no issues.
Anyone heard of Bites 312 issues?

Oh no, I just ordered some wheels with the Bitex hubs.

I’ve had no issues with Bitex 312 in the past year of use. Just checking if anyone else has.

are the 350s more expensive and do they use the new models?

They're fairly new. I just spoke to a guy who's a cycling influencer/youtuber about his experience with them, he has 2 pairs.
He says his pair with regular spokes are super flexy but he has a set with carbon spokes which feel plenty stiff. -

He's retired

never trust anyone who doesn't pay the going rate

They're not Light Bicycle sponsored 😂
He wouldn't have said they're too flexy if he was I suspect -

He pays for his stuff at full whack? LOL, what's the point of being an influenza?!

Who knows. Even at a discount I wouldn't be singing praises of a shit product though.
If it was free and I had no morals, maybe. -

Tell him they need to make some for rim brakes.
Isn't there also a sub-800g hillclimb wheelset in the works?

Should probably trawl back through the thread but....has anyone found a decent integrated bar/stem to fit Giant OD2 stem that costs a good deal less than the Giant Contact SLR version?

Anyone had experience with an LTWOO groupset? Took a punt on an 1x11 groupset, will see how it goes

Silk road travelers, do you have any recommended TPU tubes sellers? Same would go for a CO2 adapter.

Plenty of discussion on YouTube. General consensus seems to be, good value, quality control middling at best, but the good ones are very good value. Probably easier if you’re happy to fettle.

Thanks again for this, dug her email out from my last purchase and she honoured it. 1250g rim brake wheelset on the way...

No problem. What did you go for? Carbon spokes?

I was looking for a long sleeve summer jersey which is hard to find with European brands and came across a brand called Ykywbike, even though the name looks like somebody just fell on the keyboard the quality is pretty nice. The zips say YKK on them and the stitching is good quality.
The listing says autumn but it's very lightweight with mesh panels.https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001093973227.html

The winter one looks a bargain too.

How's the sizing come out?
-
• #11049
Spot on for me, usually get chest size 40 so I bought their XL size. The label says
XL Asia - L EU/USA -
• #11050
I've ordered a L Asia with a 38" chest. Ordered some bibs too. The sizing for them makes no sense! Ordered an Asia XL.
Will report back.
Thanks for the tip.
