Anyone have experience with "modern" bottle type dynamo's? I can find the Axa HR traction models which seem nice.

Just cannot justify a hub dynamo or new wheel build on this project.

in the German nerdiness category you also have Renak. A hub dynamo that you can uncouple when not in use.

I've used one of these extensively. It's currently fitted to our tandem. Happy to answer any questions.
