Just be careful that the support of the dynamo is also the negative pole on most dynamos. You can connect it has such and run only the positive cable, or you connect positive and negative to the dynamo if the dynamo has both poles. Also there are left and right models.
A new HR traction is however one-third of a complete new wheel with dynamo (20€ vs 60€ in Germany)!
Also be careful with the reflective stripe on the side of the tire, dynamo should not run on it or it unglues.

Anyone have experience with "modern" bottle type dynamo's? I can find the Axa HR traction models which seem nice.
Just cannot justify a hub dynamo or new wheel build on this project.
