I suppose Hippy may have seen 'lower CG' and assumed I was talking about handling in the same sense that car people mean, but in his shoes I might be inclined to apply the benefit of the doubt that someone would bring that much wank.
Just smelt like internet pointscoring to me; easy cheap shot. Then if pushback, double down and one or two old mates will bring a hint of dogpile.

To me it was implying that Hippy was deliberately being a dick, but I don't think that was the case and didn't think that disingenuous was really the right word.
