I had a colleague whose grandad died by falling off a step ladder head first into a water butt.
Obviously tragic, but i had to work very head to suppress a natural lol response when she was explaining the circumstances of his death. I was very proud of myself for managing to remain suitably dispassionate.

Try to keep em covered if you can, just to stop other crap like leaves or algae growing.
My mum told my son when he was four not to play near ours even though they’re covered with ‘locking’ lids as kids can fall in head first and drown because they can’t turn around. We collectively all still have nightmares, cheers mum.
