TL-FC25.
Brilliant thank you, ordered this from wiggle, hopefully its the correct tool, the resent reviews suggest they may have is miss labelled
Wiggle are being Cunts thread ....

Pretty sure I have the actual tool, not an adapter if you want to borrow it. Adapter does the job too tho.
Edit- ah just seen you’ve ordered something, nvm!

Does anyone have a campy eps system? I’m trying to figure out if the charger is broken or the battery. When I plug in the charger I get no lights at all. I thought one turned green or yellow when plugged into the mains?

who in the UK could machine a 10 speed DA freehub to take 11spd?

Anyone know the spoke tensión for Prime Sr2 carbon wheels? I can’t find it online.
I’m trying to sort out a wheelset that rubs when cornering. Even pulling the wheel laterally with moderate finger force moves the rim 3mm. They’re wiggle’s own, so managing expectations, but it seems excessive.

No hablo a spaniel, but changing the tension won't affect stiffness

There was a guy on the TT Uk forum who could machine 11 speed sprockets to work on a 10 speed freehub.
His details are at the bottom of this thread, ironically created by someone else offering the same job.

The answer to your actual question is "nobody", since once you've removed enough metal to accommodate the extra sprocket, the hub no longer functions. The answer to your problem, as Sam says, is to modify the cassette.

Just run a 11 spd MTB cassette on a 10 speed road freehub and it'll work.
-
• #4387
it'll work.
If your RD is happy with the 34T sprocket (CS-HG800-11/CS-HG700-11) or even bigger for actual MTB cassettes

You get a light where the bolt is, I think yellow. Check if the charger is mangled, many people just ram it in, but there's a position to do it, otherwise you'll end bending one of the pins
-
• #4389
Thanks, I was thinking that the bolt lit up yellow too but it’s been a couple of years since I charged it. I reckon the charger is broken as no power seems to be coming through. The pins etc look ok. Problem is now trying to find a version 1 eps charger, seems impossible. Worst case scenario I think is upgrade the battery, charger and little brain thing under the stem to version 3 or 4.

Any tips for freeing a stuck link on a 10-speed chain? It's not completely stuck, just stiff enough that it stays wrapped the wrong way as it comes out the derailleur when pedalling lightly and makes the chain jump.
I've been trying to work some light oil into the link to get it moving freely but no joy. In the olden days when chains had pressed-in pins you could flex the chain sideways and open the link slightly, which would almost always free it off. Can't seem to do that on a chain with flush, peened pins.

Could you remove link and replace with a quick link? I have loads of (now redundant to me) spare 10sp links of you want gratis
-
• #4392
Hmm, if I can't free it that's actually a pretty good idea and I think I also have a spare one. (Might hit you up if I can't find it!)

Try this first. Then if no joy start removing stuff.

I had a torque wrench, it's in the house somewhere I guess. Hidied away.
In the mean time, those preset 5nm torque wrenches, which one that isn't ParkTools?
Preferably that I can stick in a tool roll in case I NEED TO FUCK AROUND WITH STUFF on a ride. -

Bontrager, always carry one with me!
-
• #4396
That's what I've been trying so far, but it hasn't freed it. Pretty much always works on older chains though.

Ritchey ones seen ok and cheap, not used but got a couple to sell.

I'm sure my old Rivoli chain tool had a section to release the pin a bit on a stiff link.... Mind yo that was 40 years ago.

I use a Ice Toolz one, but the one I'll recommend is the Park Tool CT-5.

About to remove an old bottom bracket, and need some advice before I make things worse.. :)
My Park tools pin spanner almost fits. It has 2,9mm pins and it fit a bit too tight to the holes, their other pin tool seem to be for 2,3mm which seem too small.Would carefully drilling the hole to 3,0mm be a way to go in this scenario? The bottom bracket is in quite a rough conditions, and I will most likely replace it once removed.

From working on quite a few.
MegaExo is ~24mm. I've seen the plastic sleeve come out with the axle when when being removed from a HT2 BB.
