Those do look good, but as long as it’s visible it will be removed by a thief.
When I build my new bike I’m going to tape one to the steerer.

Interesting solution and good idea, I take it that means between the lower and upper headset bearings?

That might be a good location. You can get adhesive AirTag mounts in black - then you wouldn’t have to get paint anywhere
Edit: ignore me didn’t read the latest replies

Yes, somewhere between that doesn’t interfere with the steering at all. I can change the battery when I check/replace the headset bearings.

True, nowhere inside my bike that’s not inside a metal tube though. So- better than adhesive that can just be pulled off, these are Security Torx that will need to be cut off/destroyed with pliers.

Considering this, provide some feedback if it works. Heard reports about signals being blocked when fitted inside tubes

Good idea in theory but a security torx tool is only a few pounds and any decent thief probably has a set as they are commonly used.

Signal isn’t blocked by a flight case or fuselage but I’ll let you know if a few layers of Toray get in the way! :)

Just bought these, seem like a decent solution
