Some great performances in there but the costumes and soundtrack really made this an amazing film

I need to rewatch it, I've not seen it since it was in the cinema. My first impression was that I wasn't as in to it as most of Yorgos Lanthimos' other films. I was absolutely battered on painkillers at the time though so my judgement was probably impaired.

Saw it at the cinema and loved it. Need to watch it again.

Rachel Weisz, Emma Stone, Olivia Colman stellar performances in The Favourite. Whilst the male characters were reduced to mere pantomime in comparison. Hard to fault this film, production, costumes, make up, soundtrack, location all top notch.
