FS: 50cm Cinelli Tippo Pista and 15" Specialized Rockhopper

Hi fixie skidders,

My housemate is relatively new to cycling and has only recently realised that there's such a thing as sizes (mostly due to me laughing at him when he picks up a 'bargain' that's four sizes too small).

So, he's got a couple of bikes to sell to fund a gravel bike that actually fits.

50cm Silver Cinelli Tipo Pista (2018)

He bought this off a female friend when she moved to Melbourne. He's 5'10" so obviously it's at least three sizes too small. It's in pretty good nick aside from the usual scratches and scuffs you'd expect from a four-year-old bike. The spec is pretty much stock aside from pedals and bars. The horrific flipped Cannondale stem is my doing; it was a vain attempt to make it rideable for him. I'm happy to change to an 80mm Cinelli Ant stem or 110mm Cinelli Vai should you want to.

15" Specialized Rockhopper Pro Hardtail Disc (2006)

So, this was a freebie from my housemate's uncle, again, this came home to much laughter from me. I think this is the 2006 model but honestly, I'm not a mountain biker and they all kinda look the same.

The pros:

• Frame and fork are in good condition
  
• You get a full period Deore XT groupset with some nice Hope hydro discs
  
• Itd make a nice dad bike/commuter
  
  

The cons (and they are legion):

• The chain and cassette are rusty af (although it does shift surprisingly well)
  
• The front brake isn't currently connected up
  
• The right-hand lever is bent
  
• It's very heavy
  
• The tyres are balder than a coot

Surprised at no interest in the Cinelli, priced too high?

I had a newer one, with better components, and in better condition, and that sold for £450.

Cheers, it's a hard one to price. I sold My Cinelli Mash SSCX for £700 and have seen Tippo Pistas in similar condition going on fleabay for £600. So figured this was reasonable, but perhaps it is a little high.

In which case, price drop to £350.

No, no. You can buy either. I just listed them together as it's easier to manage. PM me and we'll arrange it if you're interested.

Cinelli no longer for sale due to lack of interest. My housemate is gonna try his luck elsewhere.

However, the Rockhopper will sit here until someone is brave enough to take on the project. Willing to listen to any reasonable offer as it's currently functioning as a trip hazard and little else.

As no one's claimed the Rockhopper, it's probably going to a bike charity/Co-op. Has anyone got a good one to recommend? Preferably East?

Went a long time ago I'm afraid. I'll have a 60cm Dolan Pre Cursa f&f for sale in a few weeks, but don't imagine that's much use to you if you're after a 50 haha
