Why are V-brakes any harder to fabricate than cantis? Are you counting the noodle or something?

The shitty pressed steel V brakes are pretty much made like that.

anyone got an idea for bodging one of these? got the rack but not the brake bolt mount part

Your lbs should have tons of the slotted style just lying around.

It’s just the bullshit that a was told by someone that had once toured Africa in the long and distant past. I think you’d just order some new parts via your phone now though.

Is there no end to the uses for old toe straps? This one stops my bike falling on my children when there are too many bikes balanced in the wrong place for that many bikes!

I don't have enough of spacers but want to test comfort with slammed stem before deciding where to chop. Luckily the Dales's cone space has a tube inside.

It feels like I should utilise the cup for something, perhaps pour there a shot of espresso for caffeine top ups without stopping?

Ronni Campara did a book of photos of badly repaired cars.

It was a pretty newish VW mini SUV in R spec. So it just seemed so out of place.

You'd probably not be surprised how many people who own cars like that can't actually afford to repair them. They're often so up to their eyeballs in their monthly repayments they don't actually have a pot to piss in for anything else.

I often used to notice someone with a £60k car putting in £10/20 worth of petrol.
