Partner is not convinced anyway, she said it looks like it belonged to a graphic designer from Friedrichshain.

So I basically finished the Titan.
Cables are quite neat, rear light holder could be neater and chainring/gearing might be ok for city use.

But I guess I'll be doing some modifications because 89 tires were skinny.
Pretty certain I can make a dimple that's as good as the one the factory made for the small chainring.

I’d just put slightly skinnier tires back on.

Looking good, neat job on the lights! If the lx cranks are 110bcd, you could get a cheap N/W ring from here

I don't have any smaller tires, and would need to go down to 45mm.

Even with dimples there still won't be enough clearance... This needs some skinnier tyres, how about Panaracer Pasela's in 1,75?

I don't need clearance, it's a city bike!
Also the wheel is wonky because respacing and terrible mechanic skills, other side has a few mm.
Guys, let me just put dimples on my 60€ frame, ok?

I, for one, think you should do some DIY dimples on this frame. Call me crazy, but that’s just what I think you should do.

You also need some clearance because of the flex in the wheel. What you don't need on a city bike is... a 55c tyre :)

I have some 44mm kenda tyres in the basement for a kindl or two.
Slippery when wet though, but I guess you won't be riding that in rain anyway without midguards

The hardest part was not getting hit on the head by bicycle parts and chopping that fat piece of iron. Will do driveside later, it's rideable.

Thing is I need reflectors on the pedals as stvo demands them. And I make it a rule to have 100% road legal bikes because bloody cyclists bla bla.
