is it? the most boring giro I have watched .. only 2nd to the one Tao won.
I completely agree. However enjoyed this stage, the last 5km of which were tense waiting for roglic to unleash the sram

I've enjoyed it. It's been far more entertaining than last year's, for a start.

Perhaps not explosive but it’s been tense.

no way Armirail pink jersey time was MORE entertaining than JuanPe !

I think the problem is Giro route planners still think everyone is oxygen vector doping.

They seem to have taken Milan-San Remo as a format, and applied it to a three-week stage race.

It’s been good, the weather hasn’t helped. We got a high mountain finish won by a tiny dude. That’s a win for me.

Contador on a motorbike is about as entertaining as a weetabix on a plant pot.

Just finished the extended highlights from today - my favourite moment was definitely Healy's getaways and how unimpressed Puccio was. Healy was having a great time winding them up.

Not a complete backing for the 'queen stage'

That Gee IV is fantastic. Really like him

No, but there was enough entertainment in there.
I've also watched 30+ minute highlights of sprint stages with obviously doomed breakaways so today was a bit of a treat.

I'm not sure what people expect from a 'queen' stage - they almost always end up being about the last climb and when it's that steep, the last few hundred metres of the climb. And today there was an interesting tussle for the win. And the scenery . You don't get that in Flanders.

Power meters make for boring bike races

Back loading the race so all the major GC stages are concentrated in the final five days makes for boring bike races.
-

That said, three weeks ago a lot of people were saying the race was over after 19.6 kms of racing.

I am in Austria today, bad internet connection, so will go out to a bar later and hope to watch the last hour or two of the TT which will be live on the telly here. I think it starts about 1130 local time, and will be spread out during the day. Going for a ride myself first - roughly what time do we think the last c90 mins will be? Would getting ready with a beer about 4 local time be about right? I managed to read up a bit last night and it could be nice and bonkers.

Where do you guys get your highlights from?

As with previous complaints, the highlights shows don't have any voiceover and so jumps between key moments in the race without much explanation.
The short highlights on YouTube (c5 minutes) do have this but don't have the scenery, the attempts to form a breakaway, the final KMs in their entirety, etc.
Looked briefly like Roglic was losing contact, and then he went round just at the last.
Thomas might need to buy Cort dinner for sprinting for 3rd and denying Roglic bonus seconds, might make all the difference tomorrow.
