Since moving out of London to the West Country, I have realised that trying to ride a fixed Pre Cursa as my utility beater in a city full of hills is not at all practical.
I had an old jump bike with tough old 26“ Azonic DH rims on blue Hope hubs and other bits stripped off my old Kona, so decided to build a utility MTB around them. I had been hoping to get an Inbred, but then this rather nice On-One 456 popped up with matchy blue decals so I ended up with something Inbred-adjacent. Other parts bin/bits off here were slowly acquired alongside a cheap steel fork off AliExpress and some Stridsland-approved BoozeLights and I have finally dropped it off at the LBS to be assembled today (I really cba to try bodging a headset press at home etc).
Plan is to add on my Pelago Commuter front rack and some mudguards, and then go and have some fun!
