Tried this today, bit over-equipped as I was only commuting (rear panniers weren't needed really though I could buy some kids cereals during lunch break!).

I really need to reset the Frog Legs cantis with shallower pads, front brakes really don't have the stopping power they should have (I use the same brakes on the Varonha and they work very well). Will try V-brake shoes, this should give a better pulling angle. If not successful I'll use good old Shimano cantis, they sit better with pivots that are closer to each other.

I have some Tektro CR710s somewhere. Really good cantis. They have been sidelined since @Hulsroy chopped up my old touring Cross Check for a good cause.

Also, why do I seem to have brakes for you? Strange.

Where fod those old Campag brakes go?

I've alternative cantis that I know will work, including some Tektros (720 not 710 like yours though), but I'm in love with the look of the frogg legs, so I'll keep trying.

Still have your Campag calipers, still on my Roberts! They are perfect for it.
