Yeah, but I think at the end of a printing day, his legs will be tired.

Darkroom moved on a bit tonight, got the plumbing all finished (apart from the piece of garden hose running from the house to the shed, it keeps bursting. I need a better quality hose!)
Did a 5 minute safe light test and there was a bit of fogging on the paper. Will repeat under the brightest part and may be spay the inside of the light with white paint to take the sting out of it.
Made a thumbs up photogram to celebrate.

Progress!
I have a massive roll of adox paper that I want to start using, can anyone recommend the best way to cut it?

Looks nice!
That kind of thing : -

That kind of roll, that looks like a bloody expensive machine.

Search in estate sales or auction. They often sell this kind of machine for nothing after bankruptcy.

any more updates?
I am considering this in backyard but I wont have running water, is it possible without? I was thinking with those 5 lt bottles.

It's all working well, I just fitted a hot external tap and run two hoses to the shed, so I can connect water when needed. Just don't spend enough time printing, but whenever I do it's great fun.

Bit of a dredge I know, but...
What height is best for work surfaces? Table top height (c 70 cm) or higher?
And chems - I mixed some up two years ago, kept them in sealed darkness, will they be okay still?

I'd possibly go a little higher than tabletop height, If I was to build another darkroom I'd go around 85/90cm. It is personal preference though.
As far as the chems go I'd probably mix some fresh up, the stop might be ok but it's probably not worth wasting any paper trying 2 year old chemicals.

Had you try it ? It is a very good scanner and I think it is easier to use. But for large format, nothing can beat a drum scanner. I've just test both a Tango and a Phase one and the difference is huge. Now I need a real training for drum scanning...
