  • Two shed denizens in need of rehoming:

    • On One Pompino M/54 - looks a bit of a state but there's a beater there still with a bit of care required. To note: seized seatpost burned out a while back by Mario Vaz then frame roughly lacquered by myself (the post will come out but requires serious welly/patience); rear wheel hub serviced last year but front wheel (rim) on way out; BB prob needs a service; missing grips and pedals. As such... £ SOLD
    • Ribble Audax 54 - great condition. Only used indoors on rollers very infrequently since last service a year or so ago. £135

Pick up from SE27 or can drop around if south within reason. Pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/10da0ms84lrz2sc/AAAe2x4_zjsAswxIxfFTR95wa?dl=0

  • Hi Rich, what's the long weld on the drive side of the downtube? Looking a bit Frankenstein?!

  • it's just how bri'ish single speed bikes come, agricultural

  • that's just a gusset, no?

  • Ah yes looks like it (had to Google what a gusset was in context of bikes). Seems like more of a MTB thing? I've not ridden MTB since I was 14. Thanks

  • probably, although they're used on much more than only MTBs - have one on my commuter as well.

  • I stand corrected!

  • Sorry I missed all these posts somehow. Pomp now SOLD

  • The frankenweld is indeed the gusset

  • Drop on the Ribble before eBay: £135

  • Pm on way re ribble!

  • All sold and closing thread
