I'm bricking it already, just doing my best to forget about it. Ultimately I'd have 100% taken this position after the end of Lampard's tenure. I've been convinced we were down probably 3 or 4 times this season. The draw at Forest, Fulham twatting us at home and the Leicester 2-2 all seemed progressively terminal. The Brighton demolition job was some kind of beautiful, awful reprieve as in many ways I just wanted the sweet kiss of premier league death and to move on with sorting out the mess of our club, but suddenly we had some hope. It's in our hands now, If we can't beat Bournemouth in our own back yard in front of 38,000 rabid evertonians then really we don't deserve to stay in the league. I think we can do it. Or I hope we can. It's all a bit blurred right now.
