One more - the Sonder Colibri takes 36mm rubber and is pleasantly devoid of design 'features' to my eyes.

Planning on taking my gravel bike to Wales. Will have some access to some spare 650b wheels for more technical trails but am planning on riding there via predominantly road. Any recommendations for 700c tyres that arent too draggy for long road sections but could also handle some (UK) gravel?

for me its got to be the G-One All Rounds if you're looking for a 50/50 skillset, they punch well above their weight/tread pattern off road

Suspension fork but no gloves?
Wheels stolen from an 80s kid?

• #27262
Do people still wear gloves these days?
-
• #27263
People who value the use of their hands do.

Yeah them and losers

I wear my glasses under my helmet straps.
Fuck the pro look.
Posers getting a rub down after a few hours on a bike. Pfft.

Conti Terra Speed!
They're impressively fast despite the pattern.
Last option is the Pirelli Gravel M (or H for more on road with the occasional off)

I wear gloves and I am both a loser and value the use of my hands.

I tore a Gravel H last week, which put me off a bit. Gravel M grip is good.

Worked for me.

I kinda wish I'd taken photos of the sticky mud when we were actually in it. Was too "Fucked or Furious". This is after the rainy descent and after we'd tried to wash the bikes in hotel carpark. Literally couldn't push the bike up the hill. It picked up so much mud you'd have to scrape each rotation or pull rocks out from the chainstays that it'd picked up. I tried carrying the bike but it was too late - too heavy with mud. Type 2 fun? Nope that bit was just shit.

The Bontrager GR2 is a seriously underrated tyres.
I’ve tried a load but they’re still my fave

I tore a Gravel M on NLD. Sidewall tears are a bit of a lottery though, have bought another one to replace it and will give them another go

I nearly commented on your IG post about it, the issue is you were not running 33mm tyres mate..
Good route though? Rotten luck with the weather, at least you didn't get floods like in Italy
