He's the face of the whole thing, isn't he? I mean I obviously have no idea what the camera person looks like and I'm not sure I could pick out his mate in a line-up.
Live by the sword...

Shops having one price online and then a higher price in store so it turns out cheaper to get the thing posted to me (probably from the store I went to) than it is for me to walk in and buy it in person.

I'm currently hating online forms which won't let me just type in my DOB and instead bring up a calendar requiring a lot of input (if your old LOL) to get to the right year and month.

I needed some Radweld recently.
Unfortunately (not so local) Halfords seemed to be the most likely place with stock I could physically collect. Online price £4.99. Shelf price £12.99. Checked with a geezer setting up the number plate machine. Was assured the till operator would honour the online price, which fortunately she did.
Is this 'surge' or 'dynamic' pricing, or just funding the Halfords' Chairperson's Bentley & cigars lifestyle? -

Mate saw a socket set for £25 online (halfords)
went down to the shop, told him it was £75.
He mentioned the online price, which they said was online only.
He stood there, ordered on his phone with click and collect, and waved the collection barcode at them and handed them the product.
Didn't even need to leave the desk.Glad they are now price matching themselves at the till these days.

Realised when I got back to the office that I should have asked if they'd match the price, but doubt they would have.

To add more to my hate, the collect from store option was the same price as delivery unless you spend over £100 in which case you get a gift card to be used in store for the amount of the delivery charge so still have to spend the delivery charge and then try to find something in store that costs £5.

Had something similar when I bought my commuting bike. Ordered it online (from Evans) with a 1 week lead time. By the time it was in stock at my preferred branch it was ~£70 cheaper online. Luckily common sense prevailed and they just gave me the difference as a refund. My other option would have been to collect the bike and immediately return it, then ask to buy the same bike at the new lower price.

Looks like he’s pretty much got away with it so don’t think he had much need to snitch.

Maybe @rhb’s link is right though
Mr Sergent added that his client had made some legitimate social media content, including playing games and discussing conspiracy theories.

This part of the forum is now hidden, right? So I just wasted my time copying and pasting and going back through replies to find the fucker’s TikTok name.

Holding yourselves to the same standard as print media doesn't say much about your self worth.

I'd assume they'd be pulled in eventually. He's the easy one to get to as he's attached the social media accounts I'd have thought. Then they can get the others after questioning him?
