I'll do that. The glueing. I suppose it's the same as what you do after you've cut the tape to mend a puncture? Nothing to worry about. I have a batch of these Dugast fake Mavics. I wonder if they all have haphazard glueing? They were made for a Mavic-sponsored team to do the Paris Roubaix. Probably in a mad rush during the night.

For the tubs - Vittoria Mastic is nowhere to be found last time I checked, but Continental Tub glue for carbon rims is. You can use it to glue the Mavic base tape back on and save it. Also, if you're not sure about clearance dry mount them and check?
