Hello it's the 1980s speaking.
Sorry I've been a bit salty there.

I love getting the perfect line on a cattle grid, riding the smooth join instead of being shaken to fuck.

I did this in the pyrenees once & it turned out was two cattle grids, which then slid apart. Wheel dropped in, went over the bars & spent the rest of the trip with a busted face & broken front teeth. Never again with cattle grids for me!

I built my garden studio/shed thing without an impact driver, then bought one 6 months afterwards. I've spent the subsequent years since wondering how I managed at all.

The little wild areas popping up around me in SE.
Waterlink isn't exactly urban but there's a new wild pond surrounded by long grasses and a little pier for newt/frog/fish spotting. There's also a new wooded area just of the ginger line tracks on Dacres. Never been one for the countryside but every time i go to either with the dog they really help me destress.

Having a successful power-nap.
Drove for near-on ten hours the other day and had a break after about six. Was only out for about ten mins but woke up like it was a new morning. In contrast I came home yesterday and it took about 8 1/2 hours with a break but no shut-eye. Was shattered at the end of it and couldn’t switch off for ages. Power naps don’t always work, but they are awesome when they do. -

We have ours in the basement (where it’s required) with the connected hose just routed into the floor drain.
TBH, I didn’t notice that and it doesn’t taste salty so……
