I saw one of the previews of the Sweet Thames Project's final performance with Ewan Wardrop last night, at the Cellar Upstairs. It's simply superb, as is the whole project, but the performance is easily its crowning glory. I strongly recommend booking a place for the 3rd June performance at Cecil Sharp House, or to go to one (or both!) of the other two previews today and tomorrow, at Walthamstow and Croydon Folk Clubs, respectively. Honestly, if you like folk music, you'll love it. We couldn't quite believe how good it was.
