i really shouldn’t be on this thread but what’s the max tyre clearance?
-

25/28 probably, depending on rim and tyre combination. I’m currently running 25 GP5000 tubeless.

Nah you’re alright
A tentative but probable sale. A toe dipped in the pool of future regret. A hesitant gauging of interest.
I’m thinking of selling my Serotta Colorado. Here it is built with Super Record 11 speed but it would be sold as a frameset only. It is a wonderful bike and has seen me up and down all sorts of lumps from the Lake District to the Alps and the Pyrenees.
It is a Columbus steel frameset from the early 90s, with a 58.5 cm TT c-c and a slightly shorter ST, with a 57 cm c-t. The headtube is 15.8cm between the cups. I’m 6’2 for reference with a centre of BB to saddle height of 80cm and I ride it with a 12cm stem. It is built with a specific tube set commissioned by Serotta, with swaged tubing that flares out at the Bb for extra stiffness. It is a beautiful frame to ride.
I have ridden it with a 1” Columbus Minimal fork and a Chris King nothreadset but I also have the original steel fork suitable for threaded headset.
There could be several options - I keep the Columbus minimal forks and CK headset and I sell just the steel frame with the OG steel forks - £500.
Or I sell with both forks and the CK headset for £675.
