A mate is an interior designer - mainly for hospitality. They said prices and supply chains are crazy.
A bog standard restaurant table - one you'd cover - is nown £4oo whereas previously it'd be round the £100 mark. Likewise a shit restaurant / cafe chair is £70 whereas before it'd be a fraction of that.
^don't hold me slavishly to those numbers, they're from memory.

Anyone else noticed some furniture prices going mad? I wanted a sofa for our basement room that goes out into the garden and was saving up for a Fred rigby 2 seater and the price has gone up by 60% in 2 months
