Maybe so, for some reason I am feeling compelled to try it this way 😆. I don’t think I’ll ever really use the granny ring just for those times when I’m struggling up a hill or on rough / uneven ground - don’t want to clutter up the bars with another big pod shifter
If you're not changing the size of your big ring then this seems like a reasonable solution. If you're putting on two new rings that are either side of the size of your current chainring then this might be a bit clunky.
